Head of Legal - Private Assets/Alternatives

position in an exciting company.

_KEY RESPONSIBILITIES_

* Lead and guide the development of the Product legal team&#**Apply
on the website**;s support of Fidelity&#**Apply on the website**;s
Private Assets and Alternative business, the expertise of its service
and the quality of its execution.
* Support Fidelity&#**Apply on the website**;s product functions in
developing and managing the private assets and alternative product
offering (UCITS/AIFs or other vehicles) and its promotion
internationally as well as the future growth of a holistic private
asset offering.
* Support the implementation and embedding of robust and efficient
processes and control around the production and delivery of product
and product documentation.
* Provide legal advice on any product legal matters or developments
which may affect product activities as well as group strategic
projects associated with the development of private asset solutions
* Review new laws and regulations and assess the impact on the
relevant Fidelity products and business units, advise on legal and
regulatory environment and liaise with external counsel and
regulators.
* Represent Fidelity International in external meetings and fund
associations.
* Act as a key liaison with other legal, governance and secretariat
teams, as well as with the control functions of compliance, risk and
internal audit within the group, working with these areas to ensure a
joined-up and co-operative approach.

Experience and

_QUALIFICATIONS_

* Qualified lawyer with substantial experience (at least 8 years) in
fund related environments, particularly in the private asset and real
estate areas, working at a senior level.
* A thorough knowledge of fund structures and the investment
management industry and legislation.
* A strong level of experience of investment fund solutions across
multiple domiciles.
*
_EXPERIENCE WITH_ efficient and robust product processes and document
management.
* Strong interpersonal skills and can demonstrate confidence and tact
when dealing with key stakeholders, board members and senior
management.
* Commercial acumen, business orientation and delivery focus.
* Excellent managerial and organisational skills, as well a
successful project management experience.
* Fluent in English. Any other language skills would be an advantage.
* Pro-active team player, with excellent communication skills.
