OPERATIONS AND TRAINING COORDINATOR

POSITION TITLE: OPERATIONS AND TRAINING COORDINATOR

REPORTS TO: Manager

LOCATION:? Blue Door, **Apply on the website** Cherry Orchard
Cresent, Ballyfermot.

_Our purpose_ is to foster a safe community in Cherry Orchard through
the provision of services that encourages people to thrive and feel a
sense of belonging.

Our services include:

* Coordinating a Community Response to harmful or intimidating
behaviour
* One-to-one key working
* Counselling
* Training Programmes - virtual and in-person
* Group support and capacity building

The OPERATIONS AND TRAINING COORDINATOR will be employed by Blue Door

POSITION SUMMARY

_Operations and Training Coordinator __(**Apply on the website** hours
per week) will have responsibility for:_

* Day to day management of operations and finance
* Organising training programmes to respond to the community?s
needs
* Facilitating programmes
* Supporting other organisations to access Blue Door for their
groups
* Represent Blue Door on relevant Interagency Networks
* Source funding for their projects/programmes
* Prepare monthly reports on activities to the manager and, when
required, funders
* Building strategic relationships with key stakeholders to support
the community to take more ownership of Blue Door
* Providing line management for the CE Administrator

THE PERSON

The successful candidate will have a minimum of two years?
experience working in a community setting

The successful candidate will be expected to have:

* Proven experience in general and financial administration including
the use of Word and Excel
* Proven communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and
written
* Commitment to the purpose of Blue Door
* Creativity and a high level of motivation and initiative
* The ability to work on their own initiative

It is desirable that the successful will have:

* Excellent organisational and IT skills with experience of using
social media including Facebook and Twitter
* An interest in and knowledge of community development
* Experience of engaging community members in training programmes
* Experience of working with multiple organisations
* The ability to undertake a community needs analysis
* A relevant tertiary qualification

HOURS OF WORK

successful candidate will need to be flexible in their working time as
certain periods may require some evening or weekend work.

PAYMENT
