THE ROLE:
ABOUT THE PROJECT:
The ?Empowering Children in Refuge through Art, Education &
Creativity? project is kindly funded by the Late Late Toy Show
Appeal though the Community Foundation of Ireland. The project focused
on REDUCING THE INEQUALITY EXPERIENCED BY CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE
WHO HAVE BEEN AFFECTED BY DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AND ABUSE. This project
will provide the children and young people who are staying in our
Refuge with access to a dedicated Project Worker who will deliver a
range of creative and educational activities such as:
* Music lessons/classes/jam sessions via instruments, singing etc.
* Art Classes/Painting/Drawing/Sculpture/Photography etc.
* Gardening/Vegetable growth etc
* Baking/Healthy Eating
* Homework Club
* Cultural Activities/celebrations
