PROJECT CO-ORDINATOR

Maine Valley Family Resource Centre (MVFRC) continually strives to
meet the changing needs of families and communities in the mid Kerry
area.

We are curently going through a process of organisational change
whilst at the same time creating a new vision to strengthen and
empower children, families and communities who live in our catchment
area (Annascaul, Inch, Keel, Castlemaine, Milltown, Firies,
Farranfore)

We are seeking a suitably qualified PROJECT CO-ORDINATOR to work with
the Voluntary Board of Directors of MVFRC and team of staff in
achieving our vision.

This is a full time position (**Apply on the website** hrs/wk) based
in MVFRC, Castlemaine.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

* Co-ordinate and promote the work of MVFRC
* Continually seek opportunities to develop the work of MVFRC in
response to local community needs
* Develop and manage MVFRC?s Strategic Plan and Annual Work Plans
* Develop and ensure that all marketing materials and other
communications accurately reflect the vision, mission and values of
MVFRC
* Financial management
* Adherence to all charity, constitutional, regulatory and legal
obligations
* Working to and with MVFRC Voluntary Board of Directors
* Recruiting, managing and supporting staff team
* Develop and maintain positive working relationships with local,
regional and national stakeholders

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

* A Third Level Qualification (Level 7) in Community Development,
Community Education, Family Support or other field of expertise where
the candidate can demonstrate relevancy to this post.
* Senior Management experience in a paid capacity
* A minimum of 2 years experience of work post qualification, in the
Community & Voluntary Sector or a related field
* Have the requisite knowledge, suitability and management ability
to carry out responsibilities of the post
