MAYFIELD INTEGRATED COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROJECT CLG
We aim to respond to local needs by the provision of support, training
and developmental opportunities to individuals and groups in the
community.

Applications are being invited for the position of RESOURCE CENTRE
MANAGER.
The post is part-time, **Apply on the website** hours per week. There
will be a six month probation period.
The post may require some evening work.

The purpose of the post is to manage all aspects of the centre on
behalf of the Voluntary Board and to work with other agencies in
Mayfield and across the city to progress social inclusion.

_JOB DESCRIPTION_

Overall responsibility for the day to day operation of the project.
Ensuring the overall financial management of the Project in
conjunction with the administrator, Auditor, Board and Funder
including HSE, Pobal and Cork ETB.

* Management and supervision of staff and volunteers
* Liaising with the Management Committee
* Planning and reviewing the work of the Project as well completing
grant agreements with Core Funders and applying for funding for new
initiatives.
* Completing reports on the work as required.
* Working closely with the HSE Community Work Department and Health
Action Zone Community Health worker in the local area across Community
Health Initiatives.
* Promote joint working with Voluntary and Statutory bodies and
Networks to further social inclusion and health initiatives.
* Contributing to policy and policy implementation as may be
appropriate.
* Other tasks as may arise in the course of the work.

The Manager will report to the board on a monthly basis as will
receive support from Staff Liaison Committee. Two written references
will be required for successful candidate and Garda vetting will also
be required.

_PERSON SPECIFICATION:_

* A good working knowledge and experience of Community Development.
* Knowledge and experience of facilitation, training and
organisational development in the community and voluntary sector
including programme planning and review. Excellent Communication ,
Presentation and Interpersonal skills, including strong Writing and
Computer skills.
* Openness, willingness and commitment to relevant training.
