Service Desk Agent (28 - 30K)
Our client based in City Centre currently has an opening for a Service Desk support technician. Candidates will provide 1st and 2nd level App Support as well as 1st level hardware in-house support to approximately 65 staff members via telephone and e-mail.

Candidates should have at least 2 years Helpdesk / Service Desk Support experience with excellent troubleshooting & diagnostic skills. They should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

This is an excellent opportunity to work for an expanding company in an ITIL based environment with the prospect of ITC training

Responsibilities:

? Give technical support to approximately 65 users in an ITIL based environment.
? Ensure all incidents and problems are dealt with in a professional and timely manner.
? Provide 1st and 2nd level Application Support for banking software


Role Requirements

? Fluent English, written and spoken
? Technical degree, equivalent
? Experience with application support for banking software
? Excellent knowledge of Microsoft XP
? Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite 97 and Windows 2003
? Good understanding of Client/Server technologies
? Knowledge of networking technologies (WAN/LAN)
? Knowledge of networking software (TCP/IP; etc)
? Familiarity with ITIL would be a plus
