ROLE: HR GENERALIST

LOCATION: Waterford

JOB PURPOSE: The HR Generalist will support all aspects of the Human
Resources function while contributing to the overall achievement of
the business goals.

CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Assist the HR Team in developing people initiatives in line with
strategic objectives
* Ensure HR policies, procedures and practices are in line with
current legislation
* Advise management on employee relations matters and employment
legislation
* Provide support and advice on HR policies
* Co-ordination of the recruitment and selection process
* Set-up and maintenance of employee files
* Assist the Performance Management process
* Promote and Drive Compliance
* Participating in the delivery and organisation of Staff Well Being
Initiatives
* Maintenance of HRIS system ? TMS
* Assisting in the on boarding of new employees
* Liaising with Payroll
* Coordination, facilitation, and delivery of training programs
* Participate in HR projects as required
* Continually strive to improve upon current HR Practices and
processes
* Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

* Relevant third level qualification in HR Degree or Masters Level is
essential for this role
* CIPD qualification an advantage
* 5 years? experience within an HR environment
* Knowledge of current employment legislation
* Strong knowledge of HRIS Systems an advantage
* Microsoft Office proficient
* Strong report-writing and presentation skills
