JOB DESCRIPTION

Workday is looking for an innovative Security Engineer to help drive
our Vulnerability Management program. The successful candidate will
work directly with our Development & Infrastructure teams to support
remediation of discovered vulnerabilities in a timely manner.

_YOU WILL_ contribute to building & running security tools & projects
to make Workday more secure for our customers. We are looking for
someone who is not afraid to tackle the root cause of an issue rather
than treating the symptoms. You should possess solid experience
working with security or development teams and have a background
working in a Secure DevOps environment.

What you will do:
Drive adoption of security tools and processes across Workday?s
development teams to support our ?shift left? initiatives Drive
automation initiatives across the vulnerability management team.
Support development teams to remediate vulnerabilities discovered in
code, open source libraries, and deployed infrastructure Analyse
threats & vulnerabilities to determine the impact to Workday systems.
Develop and improve KPIs for vulnerability management. Stay up to date
with the latest technology advancements in public cloud technologies
What you should have:
Bachelor&#**Apply on the website**;s degree or higher in a relevant
field. 7+ years of experience in an Information Security, Application
Security, or Development role with a security focus. Hands on
experience working with development teams to remediate software
vulnerabilities. Understanding of open source software security and
supply chain issues

_EXPERIENCE WORKING_ in a large enterprise environment with diverse
teams and technologies. In-depth understanding of various operating
systems, TCP/IP networking, OWASP Top **Apply on the website**, cloud
native technologies such as docker & kubernetes, other public cloud
deployments. What we hope you have:
Understanding of Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC)
practices or experience working in a DevSecOps role In-depth
understanding of at least 1 programming language such as java or
