wellbeing, independence and quality of life for all people who use our

Cork, Galway, Wicklow, Limerick, Donegal, Kerry, Carlow, Waterford,

THE ROLE

WHAT WE DO?
A Care Support Workers role is to support and facilitate individuals
to live in their own home, to develop and hold valued social roles and
a variety of meaningful relationships within their communities.

HOW WE WORK.
The Cheshire Community Living Service is based on clear principles of
supporting people ?one person at a time?. As a Cheshire Care
Support Worker you will be committed to the provision of quality
services and to the concept of working in partnership with clients who
live in their own homes.

WHAT YOU WILL DO.
Individuals sought to work in a 1:1 and 2:1 capacity with a person
living in their own home in the community. The Cheshire Community
Living Service is based on clear principles of supporting people
?one person at a time?. As a Cheshire Support Worker you will be
committed to the provision of quality services and to the concept of
working in partnership with clients who live in their own homes. The
successful candidates will have the ability to operate independently
with good use of initiative, and also to work effectively in the small
staff team. You and your team will provide personal care in line with
client health needs, exercise programmes, and household management.
You and your team will also support the client?s safety, security,
emotional, and spiritual well-being whilst also supporting the person,
if necessary, to identify their individual goals and achieve future
aspirations.You will be committed to the principles of rights based,
person-centred services. You will be flexible, reliable, and prepared
to work a variety of shifts. Preferably you will have experience of
working with clients who have a spinal cord injury and or high
clinical support needs. The ideal candidate will be patient, social,
and pro-active. A full clean driving licence and access to your own
vehicle is desirable. You will also be required to support the person
in driving their own wheelchair vehicle and must be **Apply on the

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

* Full Clean Driving Licence Essential
* 6 months Experience supporting vulerable people.
* You must also be working towards or hold a FETAC Level 5
Qualification in Health Care or equivalent care related qualification.
