Teach Tearmainn is a non-profit organisation dedicated to serving
women, with or without children, who are in or have experienced

the issue of domestic violence and abuse in County Kildare. Teach
Tearmainn provide the following services:

TEACH TEARMAINN ARE NOW SEEKING TO FILL THE FOLLOWING ROLE:

REFUGE COORDINATOR

The Refuge Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the
day-to-day operations of Teach Tearmainn?s Refuge. The Refuge
Coordinator will play a key role in leading and implementing Teach
Tearmainn?s strategic plan and the related developments as well as
overseeing the ongoing day to day coordination of services into the
future.

The Refuge Coordinator is a member of the Senior Management Team
reporting directly to the CEO. The management team will provide
strategic leadership and management oversight to safeguard quality
service delivery and support to women and children who are
experiencing domestic violence and abuse.

The purpose of this role is to coordinate the delivery of refuge
services and the refuge staff team in line with the organisation?s
vision, mission, and core values. The Refuge service is a core element
of the work of the organisation. The Refuge provides emergency crisis
care accommodation to women and children who are fleeing their homes
as a result of domestic violence and abuse. Teach Tearmainn?s Refuge
also provides support to women via telephone, which is also operated
