The FREIGHT AND SUPPLY CHAIN SOLUTIONS ANALYST (M/F) will be based in
CORK, IRELAND . In this role you will be part of an international team
of supply chain experts and conduct data analysis to improve or
introduce new solutions for freight and supply chain operations. Your
job will help us increase efficiency, reduce costs and win more
business. You will support our Sales efforts to and improve our supply
chain by using data-driven analytics to propose new approaches,
improve our supply chain network, and develop new business processes.

Flex Cork in Ireland is a central manufacturing and logistics point in
the global Flex network. On site we offer manufacturing, innovation
and integration services as well as advanced forward and reverse
logistics and supply chain offerings.

HERE IS A GLIMPSE OF WHAT YOU’LL DO:
* Create processes and methods to gather supply chain data
* Develop, improve and support fulfillment models, supplier and
supply chain strategies to support organizational goals
* Support sourcing, due diligence and supplier management for main
GSS Logistics Solutions
* Reduce sourcing lead times and streamline decision making to
improve supply chain flexibility, work on database of suppliers per
solution and scoring of their performance;
* Perform a variety of business analysis and ad hoc analytical
support to develop insights and business recommendations
* Analyze data to identify problematic areas and suggest
improvements
* Plan and implement supply chain optimization projects (e.g. route
planning, node skipping, mode shift etc)
* Discover the most cost-effective shipping modes and schedules for
major GSS trade lanes
* Evaluate vendor operations (e.g. freight forwarders) according to
quality standards
* Help foster trusting relationships with business partners
* Collaborate with IT professionals to implement effective systems
for GSS Logistics solutions
* Partner with Sales and Business Development team to manage client
expectations and ensure alignment in work process and deliverables
* Create and administer formal project review for lessons learned
and continue process improvement on every WIN or LOSS
* Managing multiple competing priorities and multiple
projects/programs at one time
* Supports Regional Manager with business intelligence, data
analysis and modeling, and presentation material
* Assist in sales & business development to expand the freight
operation for the sites & region

HERE IS SOME OF WHAT YOU’LL NEED (REQUIRED):
* A finished BSc/BA in Logistics, Business Analytics, Mathematics or
a related field
* Proven previous experience as a Supply Chain Analyst, Logistics
Coordinator or similar role
* You are up-to-date on digital developments, and have good insights
in & affinity with Technology
* Experience in data mining, analysis and reporting
* Familiarity with supply chain processes
* Working knowledge of MS Office, relational databases and ERP
systems
* Working knowledge of Tableau or other visual analytics tools
* Analytical mind with business acumen
* A demonstrable process improvement mindset, ability to understand
the sales process, technical integrations, and client onboarding
processes
* Experience in implementing innovation projects in a complex supply
chain environment
* Understanding of Supply Chain Management operational concepts
surrounding; planning, inventory control, purchasing, logistics and
warehouse operations
* A solution-oriented problem-solving attitude
* Attention to detail
* Excellent communication skills in English
* Outstanding organizational ability

HERE ARE A FEW OF OUR PREFERRED EXPERIENCES:
* Working knowledge of Llamasoft / Supply Chain Guru or similar tools
will be a plus
* Working knowledge of TMS system(s) will be a plus
* Curiosity to explore, early adapt, create and share innovation. A
network with innovation (consultancy) companies, industry congresses,
etc is a plus
