Project Manager - Warehousing & Logistics
Talent Partners are currently looking to recruit a Project Manager,
with previous experience in a Warehousing and Logistics environment,
for a healthcare company who are undergoing a significant
transformation project at present. In this role you will play a key
role in creating project plans, ensuring clear scope definition and
business requirements, engaging with relevant stakeholders and working
with and leading projects teams as required. RESPONSIBILITIES

* Establish and manage appropriate and effective project governance
structures for that adhere with current SCL governance structures.
* Development, management and tracking of all required project
documents.
* Manage project progress and status to ensure that projects are
delivered within agreed scope, quality, time and budget parameters.
* Monitor overall project progress, resolving issues and initiating
corrective action as appropriate with key stakeholders.
* Prepare corporate project reports setting out project progress vs
plan, key risks, items for escalation, time and cost projections and
benefit updates.
* Report to SCL PMO, senior management, steering committees, IT and
business stakeholders on project progress.
* Manage project change control and maintain change control records
and justifications.
* Ensure clear roles and responsibilities and criteria are defined
for project decision making and escalation processes. Ensure timely
escalation to senior management of projects going off track.
* Manage and control project related expenditure.
* Manage a diverse range of program stakeholders both internal and
external to the organisation.
* Adhere to industry best practices for project management office
(PMO) structures, methodologies and project governance models within
the business ? including the implementation of stage gates
throughout the project lifecycle.
* Manage handover of projects to the business ensuring appropriate
support arrangements and training is in place.
* Coach and mentor others on project management processes and skills
including resources on the project and more widely across the
organisation as required.
* Contribute to the continuous enhancement and improvement of
project management practices within the organisation.

QUALIFICATIONS

* Minimum of 8 years project management experience in the Warehouse
Management/Change with a proven track record in the delivery of IT
enabled business change.
* Certification in project management is essential.
* Experience at a senior level in Logistics project/program
management in a mature organisation is preferable.
* Demonstrable experience of managing multi-disciplinary, cross
functional teams (IT and business professionals and contractors) to
deliver projects safely, on time and within budget.
* Must have experience as a Logistics Project Manager through the
full life-cycle of the project (from project initiation to
implementation) with a detailed knowledge of SDLC / Agile.
* Proven track record in successful program delivery within a
diverse global organisation.
* Excellent Stakeholder Management and communication skills to build
impact and influence.
* Experience of vendor management in LSP providers with specific
understanding of GDP and GMP environments.
* Experience of delivery of life science projects to comply with GxP
validation regulations is preferable.
* Experience of leading project teams and multiple concurrent
projects (in a matrix organisation).
* Demonstrable change management skills including behavioural and
cultural awareness and the ability to engage with a diverse range of
stakeholder groups, in an appropriate manner.
* Experience of working successfully under pressure, managing
complex projects, managing ambiguity and creating clarity.
* Ability to work on own initiative when setting up and delivering
projects.
* Teamwork, collaboration and the ability to build effective
partnerships with both business and IT stakeholders at all levels of
an organisation is an essential requirement of this role.
* Some international travel will be required as part of this role.
