BACKGROUND
YOUTH WORK IRELAND LAOIS (Laois Youth Services CLG) was established in

Youth - Cafes, Clubs, Groups,?programmes, workshops and initiatives
are integrated, inclusive and accessible to all young people between

Youth Work Ireland Laois is the only fully integrated Youth Service in
County Laois, offering free counselling and listening services. We
also offer support as part of the UBU programme for disadvantages
Young people in four targeted areas in Portlaoise. YWI Laois also
support start-up Youth Clubs / Groups. Youth Work Ireland Laois
currently supports our Youth Cafe in Portlaoise, and also Youth Clubs
in Emo, Ballinakill, Ballylinan, Portlaoise, Portarlington,
Barrowhouse and Vicarstown
One of the Organisations key strategic goals is to secure a long term
home for youth activity in Laois. Youth Work Ireland Laois Ltd wishes
to commission a competent and independent Consultant to conduct a
comprehensive feasibility study into developing a multi-user youth
facility in Portlaoise Co. Laois.? The study will set out a blueprint
for the successful development of a suitable multi-user Youth wellness
centre with a particular focus on its viability aimed at providing
widespread benefits across the community. It is anticipated that the

quotes must be valid for this period.
INVITATION TO TENDER
Following constructive initial discussions, Youth Work Ireland Laois
now wishes to commission a feasibility study to establish the basis of
a viable service in this area. YWI therefore invites tenders from
suitably qualified and experienced individuals or organisations to
conduct a feasibility study in accordance with the terms of reference
outlined in Section 2 of the tender document sttsched below.
YWI Laois intends to award the contract in November. The successful
bidder will be required to complete the feasibility study within 6
months of the award of the contract.
The successful bidder will be required to submit evidence of
compliance with tax clearance certification requirements.
