Development Manager
Pantheon Talent has partnered with a leading organisation within
Financial Services who are looking to make a critical hire. Due to
expansion across the business, there is an urgent need to hire an
Application Development Manager.

This is a significant hire for our customer, and the successful
applicant will manage an innovative application development team,
which is tasked with developing and delivering best in class business
applications throughout the organisation. Part of the role will be to
guarantee delivery in line with commercial standards inclusive of
quality, cost, time frame and relevant technology, whilst meeting
business requirements.

Some other responsibilities of the Application Development Manager

* Deliver on all IS initiatives to support business goals within
agreed timeframes and budget

* Ensure fitting IS, and systems ability is in place to support
corporate divisions to deliver on agreed business goals

* Lead the IS function and contribute to the business division as
required

* Establish a clear path for IS development teams and recognise the
future skill and capability needs

* Guide and drive an exceptionally talented and diverse team ensure
succession planning, growth and retention

The Application Development Manager will have:

* 5+ years of experience within a leadership role

* 5+ years experience leading an innovative application development
team

* Ideally have an IT degree or equivalent

* A successful track record in project management

* Must have experience managing project/team finances in excess of 2m
per annum

* Hands-on experience working in Applications development

* People-oriented coupled with effective leadership skills

* Experience within an Agile environment coupled with frameworks such
as Scrum and Kanban

* Experience of leading a multi-disciplinary team of developers

* An innovative approach, coupled with an ability to introduce change

* Ability to communicate at a senior level

* Experience implementing best practice

* Experience in the design and delivery of technology-enabled
programmes

* Ideally, experience within the Pensions market
