County Wicklow Partnership is seeking tenders, (IN TWO LOTS) from
suitably qualified individuals/ organisations with expertise in
delivering a linked training programme to a group of between **Apply

Wicklow, on how the natural environment can be used as a platform to
promote FOREST BATHING as a branded tourism product Co Wicklow (LOT
1). (LOT 2), of this tender aims to equip the group with the
entrepreneurial business thinking, skills & networking building
ability to promote the concept, as a sustainable individual / group
business model and particular focus should be given to approaching
this business thinking from a SOCIAL ENTERPRISE model.
It is anticipated that the participants will come from existing
tourism providers or those operating in the provision of wellness
services.
It is anticipated that the programme will be delivered in Q**Apply on
the website** with the aim to prepare participants for the **Apply on
the website** local and / or international tourist season.
CONTEXT ? FORREST BATHING
* Forest bathing is essentially spending time (that can be done alone
or led by a trained practitioner) in wooded or natural areas in order
to practice mindfulness and so become reconnected to nature and

became part of a national public health program in Japan and still
continues to be a large part of preventative healing in Japanese

training, development and growth of being in & promoting the natural
beauty of the environment of Co Wicklow and to encourage the
development of the concept of ?natures natural wellness offering ?
Forest Bathing?. In addition, it will help build a further tourism
offering for both the national, international and the eco conscious
tourist.
