FAMILY CENTRE MANAGER (PANEL)
_The Daughters of Charity Child and Family Service (DoCCFS) is a not
for profit public service organisation. We provide a range of
therapeutic supportive services to children and families, based in the
greater Dublin region. The Service works in collaboration with TUSLA
Child and Family Agency local areas in Dublin North and North City,
East and Dublin Mid Leinster._
_Our Services include an Early Childhood Development Service (ECDS),
Family Centre Service, Dublin Safer Families Service and Assessment
Services._
The DoCCFS are seeking applications to the post of FAMILY CENTRE
MANAGER. We are forming a panel from which current and future
vacancies will be filled.
REPORTING TO THE SENIOR MANAGER THE FAMILY CENTRE MANAGER WILL
* Provide leadership and guidance to our centre teams
* Influence, and help implement, organisational strategy
* Manage therapeutic supports offered to children and families
attending the centre
* Manage organisational projects
* Monitor and report on Outcome Measures for the centre
* Ensure operational best practice is achieved by our services for
the benefit of children and families attending our centres.
* Provide supervision to the professional staff team
Candidates must have at least five years? experience in a similar
management role. A management qualification will give a distinct
advantage.
Candidates must have significant experience networking and influencing
change within the voluntary/community sector.
Candidates must have experience using mechanisms to successfully
evaluate the outcome of work. Qualifications and experience in the
provision of therapeutic supports to children and families is
essential.
A full knowledge of the relevant legislation and national policy
underpinning work in this area is essential.
