ENVIRONMENTAL ANALYST - ATHY, CO KILDARE

ROLE DESCRIPTION

The Environmental Analyst is a key member of the Athy Operational Team
who is responsible for providing technical support to ensure
compliance, to drive standards and to deliver world class
environmental performance.

It is an exciting time to join the Athy Team, with a brand new
maltings recently completed, the Environmental Analyst will ensure
that the site is meeting all obligations with regard to the Industrial
Emissions Licence. In addition the post holder will ensure that the
on-site Waste Water Treatment Plant is operating effectively and the
site is compliant at all times in relation discharge of waste water.

The Environmental Analyst will support the implementation
environmental standard EMS ISO**Apply on the website**:**Apply on the
website**.

The post holder will help drive the continuous improvement of the
sustainability and environmental impact of the site. and help deliver
locally on Boortmalt&#**Apply on the website**;s sustainability
commitments .

More generally the as part of the site operations team the post holder
will support the wider objectives of the site for operational
excellence and continuous improvement and the promotion of best
practice in Health and Safety and Quality standards

CANDIDATE PROFILE

We a looking for a skilled Environmental Analyst with a degree in
environmental science or similar discipline. Strong practical lab
skills are fundamental to the role. Practical experience is also key
especially working in an industrial environmental operating under
IE/IPC/IPPC licensed conditions. Demonstrable knowledge and experience
in the operation of biological wastewater treatment plant is
essential.

In addition the post holder should be experienced in operating with
quality systems such as ISO-**Apply on the website**, **Apply on the

To be a success in this role post holder must be a self-starter,
organised with the ability to prioritise their workload of urgent,
important and essential tasks.

As part of a small team the Environmental Analyst must be a team
