representing, promoting and developing co-operative housing in

ROLES:

CHI Childcare is seeking to recruit for the following roles:

1 EARLY YEARS PRACTITIONER - FULL-TIME (**APPLY ON THE WEBSITE**.5

1 EARLY YEARS PRACTITIONER ? PART-TIME (**APPLY ON THE WEBSITE**

1 AIM PRACTITIONER - PART-TIME (**APPLY ON THE WEBSITE** HOURS PER

These positions will be 1 Year Fixed-Term Contracts and report to the
Childcare Services Manager.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Working as a member of the childcare team in the provision of a
child centred programme for children.
* Acting as a practitioner for a number of children as directed by
the Childcare Service Manager.
* Communicating with parents and other caregivers regarding
children's activities.
* Participating in the planning, implementation, documentation and
review of the Aistear & Siolta programmes.
* Ensuring all policies and procedures are implemented in the
carrying out of duties.
* Recording development and progression milestones of the children.
* Maintaining advanced hygiene standards as per regulations in
collaboration with the Team.
* Participating in all training and workshops as arranged by the
Childcare Service Manager.
* Attending all team meetings as arranged by Childcare Service
Manager.
* Demonstrate a strong teamwork ethic and the ability to work on
your own initiative.
* Any other duties within the general requirements of the above that
may be assigned by the Childcare Service Manager from time to time as
appropriate to the position.

REQUIREMENTS:

* Minimum QQI Level 5/6/7 qualification in Early Year
Education/School-Aged Childcare.
* At least 1 years? paid experience of working in community early
years? service setting.
* Knowledge and experience of working within the Aistear, Siolta and
STEAM programmes.
* A commitment to creating a quality and inclusive environment for
early years learning and continuous professional development.
* Flexibility in approach to tasks and an appreciation of the
importance of teamwork.
* Understanding, compassion and warmth.
