DRUG & ALCOHOL FAMILY SUPPORT WORKER
NORTH LEITRIM/SOUTH DONEGAL AREA
OVERALL PURPOSE OF JOB
To develop and provide evidence-based Drug & Alcohol supports to
reduce the stress & health related problems experienced by families &
children.
The role of the Drug & Alcohol Family Support Worker will be to
provide a non-judgemental, confidential support service to people who
have been adversely affected by a family member or friend?s drug or
alcohol use.
HOURS: **Apply on the website** hrs. Per week (flexible - to include
Evenings & Weekends)
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
A degree or equivalent 3rd level qualification in a health and social
care related area and 1 year recent experience of working within a
mental health or social care setting
OR
an application will be acceptable if the candidate can demonstrate 3
years recent experience working with/supporting clients, one of which
must be within a mental health or social care setting
Completed specific drug/alcohol training
