Liaise with the H&S Manager and Customer Performance Director in
the development of site-specific documentation to ensure compliance
with Health & Safety Legislation.
Specific duties will include :
* Assisting with development of site-specific method statements/ risk
assessment on sites.
* Assisting to ensure compliance with health and safety legislation /
Customer regulatory portals.
* Responsible for maintaining and storing all training certificates of
all employees & subcontractors at the relevant sites
* Maintaining a log of Supplier requirements & ensuring all suppliers
(including subcontractors) documentation for ESS & Eirdata is
maintained and up-to-date and available on the shared drives.
* Ensuring all customer portals and requirements are maintained and
up-to-date and the customer portal log is updated with any new
customers etc.
* Preparing weekly Safety mailshots and news items and sending to all
our employees and subcontractors via Constant Contact, also sharing
this information with Sperie to be uploaded as news s.
* Ensuring all notes & minutes from site meetings from the Safety
Manager are recorded in the relevant site folder on the shared drive.
Logging all actions and recommendations in a separate log.
* Keeping a log of all accidents & incidents in the Safety file,
including the full investigation & outcome.
* Keeping a log of the distribution of Safety PPE and site
requirements including the frequency of how often PPE is replaced.
* Keeping a log of all site equipment & instruments and calibration
due dates, arranging calibration when the date is close.
Qualifications / Skills
* A relevant Health and Safety Diploma/degree
* Good communication skills.
* Knowledge of Microsoft packages.
* Ability to fit into a team structure
* High level of initiative.
