Involve wish to appoint a Youth Work Coordinator to support the
delivery of youth services in the above named area. He/she will be
part of a team with responsibility for the development and delivery of
a comprehensive Youth Work Programme for Traveller Youth in the area.
MAIN DUTIES
* Deliver a range of Youth programmes & activities
* Participate in relevant local committees and events to ensure
participation of members of the Traveller community
* Work directly and collaboratively with all local youth work
organisations and providers of youth programmes
* Recruit and train volunteers to support the activities of your
Project
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
* Project Finance & Budgets
* Project Administrative Duties
* Project Support and Supervision
* Project Reporting to funders
EXPERIENCE
* Experience of working in youth work or related sector
* Hold a relevant recognized qualification in Youth Community Work
* Have knowledge of recent developments in the Youth Work Sector in
recent years
* Previous experience of working with the Traveller Community an
advantage
