FACILITATORS NEEDED
Required for immediate commencement two Social Care Workers on a
1-year temporary contract in our day service supporting adults with an
intellectual disability.
OBJECTIVES OF THE POSITIONS:
The objectives of the Facilitator positon is the establishment,
development, implementation and delivery of an effective, flexible,
rights-based, person-centred support for individuals who use the
service. Committed to working as part of a team and as an individual
contributor, candidates must demonstrate experiential competencies,
use of initiative, flexibility, communication and inter-personal
skills, and an appropriate equality focused attitude.
ESSENTIAL SKILL REQUIRED;
* Relevant Social Care Qualification
* Full clean driving licence
* Experience working in an adult disability setting
* Occupational First Aid
* Manual Handling & People Moving
* Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults at Risk of Abuse Training
DESIRABLE SKILLS REQUIRED;
* Experience of supporting individuals on the Autism spectrum
* Working knowledge of New Directions
* Knowledge of the Assisted Decision Making (Capacity) Act
The positions are based in New Ross, Co. Wexford. The positions are

1-year contract with further extension dependent on future funding.
Salary levels will depend on qualifications and experience. A
