Waterford and Wexford ETB wishes to recruit a part-time Co-ordinator
to co-ordinate and implement a Local Training Initiative (LTI) ? QQI
Level 5 Major Award in General Learning Studies and to progress other
necessary skills, including Personal and Digital Media Skills.
This course is based in Westgate Training Centre, Westgate Yard,
Wexford.
The position of LTI Co-ordinator involves the management and
co-ordination of training on an LTI Initiative and ensuring that
learners receive the required training to acquire a QQI Level 5 Major
Award.

An initial one-year contract with a three-month probation period will

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE MUST HAVE:
* An understanding of the techniques and delivery of Community
Training Programmes.
* A clear understanding and working knowledge of QQI.
* Ability to plan and develop training timetables.
* Good IT skills and knowledge of online administration systems.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Knowledge and understanding of the conditions and circumstances
that face the long-term unemployed and early school leavers.
* Knowledge of both formal and informal education sectors and
possible progression routes.
