Our client, a World Class Manufacturing company who are implementing
Shingo culture throughout their company now wish to hire Manufacturing
Engineers into their commercial manufacturing plant.
This hire is required to develop integrated strategic and operational
manufacturing plans for products and pre-commercial projects,
in-conjunction with project planners, manufacturing, etc. This role
will lead projects on process improvements, lean iniatitives and value
engineering programs.
This is a permanent role with an FDA regulated industry.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF LEAN MANUFACTURING ENGINEER:
Transferring and implementing processes from development into
manufacturing.
Use lean manufacturing tools to reduce product cost and optimize
efficiency.
Contribute to resolving conflicts at functional level, facilitate
decision-making.
Prepare standard cross-functional reports for functional areas and
Management.
Arrange meetings involving cross functional manufacturing groups;
prepare agendas and minutes of such meetings.
REQUIREMENTS OF LEAN MANUFACTURING ENGINEER:
Honours Bachelor&#**Apply on the website**;s Degree in Science,
Engineering or similar field
6+ years&#**Apply on the website**; experience in manufacturing
environment; electronics, medical devices, or cutting edge technology
sector.
2+ years project management experience is required.
Proven experience in using lean manufacturing tools, delivering cost
savings.
Ideally, line management experience.
