THE FOCUS OF YOUR ROLE

Capgemini Financial Services requires an experienced Data Governance
Lead with Technical/Management skills in the area of business
intelligence, data warehousing, testing, reporting and analytics.

As a Data Governance Lead, you be responsible for leading a successful
enterprise data governance program to help our clients with their data
driven projects that include working with data driven initiatives,
privacy issues, or complex projects that touch multiple systems.

Using your Financial Services industry expertise to help our clients
derive value from their internal and external sources of data. You
must be able to engage with business and IT stakeholders and
articulate solutions at various levels and be responsible for the
successful delivery and maintenance of our clients Data Governance.

The range of activities that you will get involved with is extensive
and includes:

* Define, Monitor and audits of various Data Governance policies,
processes, procedures
* Report on findings of audits and Data Governance metrics to
reporting director and other Senior Leadership
* Define and implement policies and procedures for the day-to-day
operational and administrative management of systems and data -
including the intake, storage, processing, and transmission of data to
internal and external systems.
* Build and maintain data governance policies, playbook(s),
processes, procedures for guiding various data management processes,
including data security and privacy, data quality control and data
dissemination activities
* Establishing data-quality metrics and requirements, including
defining the values, ranges, and parameters that are acceptable for
each data element.
* Establishing the procedures for detection and correction of
data-quality issues and the collaborate to establish policies,
procedures, and internal controls affecting the quality of data.
* Establishing the guidelines and protocols that govern the
proliferation of data to ensure that privacy controls are enforced in
all processes.
* Compiling retention, archival, and disposal requirements and
ensure compliance with internal policy and regulations.
* Defining the policies and procedures for access to data, including
the criteria for authorization based on role and/or the individual

* Experience leading a successful enterprise data governance program
or similar years of experience in policy or data driven
programs/projects that include working with data driven initiatives,
privacy issues, or complex projects that touch multiple systems
* Knowledge of industry standard methodologies, master data
management (MDM), data governance, established data management
principles and techniques, and emerging data and reporting
technologies
* Hands on expertise in data architecture, modelling, lineage, data
processes, data architecture control execution
* Hands on expertise with data management tools eg Collibra, Alation
* Hands on experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Snowflake)
* Hands on experience with data ingestion/ETL tools: NIFI,
Wherescape, Informatica
* Experience with big data technologies is preferred
