DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
Citizens Information Services provide free, confidential and impartial
information, advice and advocacy services to the public on social
services, rights and entitlements.
THE MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE IS:
Key tasks for this post include developing and managing Clare Citizens
Information Service; responsibility for the overall development,
management of innovative process for the provision of quality
information to our clients and to manage the recruitment, training and
development of a small team. The Development Manager will also take
responsibility for the development of a network of information service
providers in the area; will represent the Service at conferences and
will assist the strategic planning for the service.
Ideally, candidates should have a relevant third level qualification.
Applicants should have a knowledge of social services, information,
advice, advocacy provision, excellent communication skills and a high
level of computer literacy. Experience of management in a busy
information environment is desirable.

SALARY SCALE

It is anticipated that new entrants to the Citizen Information Service
will be appointed on the 1st point of the scale.
CIS operates an incremental credit process which is based on the cover
