agreement, __term time, based on school calendar primarily,__

Services is also required. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
is essential as services will be delivered in line with the needs of
the students attending the programme._

This role is very closely aligned to the delivery of New Directions
and the Interim Standards.

The Trainer you will report to the Programme Manager and liaise with
the Head of Adult Services and with the Colaiste Ide Principal. This
contract is based in CRC Schools Clontarf, Clondalkin and Colaiste Ide
Finglas and travel to other sites may be required.

THE TRAINER WILL:-

* Design sessions to support the students as they progress through
their QQI Level 4/5 modules.
* Work with students on a one to one capacity, supporting them with
Literacy, Numeracy & Computer Assistive Technology.
* Provide one-to-one training to adults, particularly in the area of
literacy to aid with assignments, bibliographies, appendices etc. to a
QQI Level 4/5 standard.
* Conduct, monitor and review Individual Training Plans on a regular
basis and assist with Progression Plans.
* Carry out administrative duties as required, including report
writing, correspondence with outside agencies and maintenance of
files/records.
* Ensure that the dignity, rights, choices and confidentiality of
adults are respected and deal with situations with sensitivity and
understanding.

THE SUCCESSFUL CONTRACTOR MUST BE FAMILIAR WITH ALL RELEVANT NATIONAL
POLICIES AND HAVE;

Working knowledge of the New Directions policy.

* Two years? experience working with adults with disabilities in an
education setting.
* One year?s relevant experience delivering QQI modules within an
educational setting.
* A relevant Degree QQI Level 7 in e.g. Education, Social Sciences
or Community Development
* A relevant pedagogical qualification i.e. QQI Level 6 or above
would be desirable
* Excellent overall communication
* An awareness of Safeguarding Vulnerable Persons/Child Protection
