SENIOR MANAGER (SERVICES) DUBLIN NORTH EAST

_The Daughters of Charity Child and Family Service (DoCCFS) is a not
for profit public service organisation. We provide a range of
therapeutic supportive services to children and families, based in the
greater Dublin region. The Service works in collaboration with TUSLA
Child and Family Agency local areas in Dublin North and North City,
East and Dublin Mid Leinster._

_Our Services include an Early Childhood Development Service (ECDS),
Family Centre Service, Dublin Safer Families Service and Assessment
Services._

The DoCCFS are seeking applications to the post of SENIOR MANAGER
(SERVICES) to provide leadership to the therapeutic family centres and
assessment centres in the Dublin North East Area and to provide
leadership within the organisation as a member of the senior
management team. The organisation is entering a new exciting phase of
development and innovation and the Senior Manager will work with the
Senior Management Team and the Board of Directors in implementing the

AS A MEMBER OF THE SENIOR MANAGEMENT TEAM, REPORTING TO THE DIRECTOR
OF SERVICES, THE SENIOR MANAGER WILL:

* Provide leadership and guidance to staff and management in the
designated centres
* Implement the organisational 5 year strategy ?Supporting

* As a core member of the SMT work closely with the SMT to realise
strategic priorities
* Represent the organisation at relevant strategic fora and networks
* Manage organisational projects
* Ensure operational best practice is achieved by our services for
the benefit of children and families attending our centres.

Candidates must have at least 3 years? experience at senior level in
a similar management role. A management qualification will give a
distinct advantage.

Candidates must have significant experience in therapeutic service
management, supervision and service development and a practice
background.

Qualifications and experience in the provision of therapeutic supports
to children and families is essential.

Candidates and must have significant experience networking and
influencing change at a national level with relevant agencies and
allied professionals.

Candidates must have experience using mechanisms to successfully
evaluate the outcome of work. A full knowledge of the relevant
legislation and national policy underpinning work in this area is
essential.
