Software Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer Centre Salary negotiable

Our client are an established market leader based in Dublin City
Centre. They require a Site Reliability Engineer to work in their IFSC
office.
Role and Responsibilities:
* Identify failure points in systems and design solutions to address
these.
* Work with Application and Operations teams to help scale
applications.
* Solve problems relating to performance or loss of service issues and
help create solutions to prevent these incidents.
* Design , implement, deliver stable, resilient scalable software
solutions on public and private cloud platforms
* Provide operational support and incident management for the
production environment.
* Establish (and build ) a transformative team and agenda to transform
work practices, processes and tooling with respect to system
operations and management.
Skills and Experience:
* Degree in Computer Science.
* 3 + years experience in a Mid / Senior SRE role
* Establish a transformative team
* Scripting Python T-SQL
* Experience supporting components on Microsoft tech stack (C#/.NET
Framework/Core, load balanced IIS/Kestrel, HA failover clustering, HA
SQLServer, MSMQ/Kafka)
* Containerized systems Docker, Kubernetes, Docker Swarm
* Cloud , AWS
* Containerisation
* Experience in handling and solving system outages
* Confident working with systems on a large scale.
* Good understanding of network protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP,
TLS and SSH.
* Load Balancers, centralized logging and application monitoring tools
and message queueing technology.
* Knowledge of application servers
* AWS.
* Excellent relationship management and teamworking skills.
* Strong organisation and prioritisation capabilities.
