JOB OPPORTUNITY
We have an exciting opportunity for 2 X STAFF NURSE RNID FULL TIME
PERMANENT CONTRACT **APPLY ON THE WEBSITE** HPW
OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE POST:
To Provide Nursing Support on a full time basis to adults with dual
disability and additional needs. In order to provide a flexible
Nursing service that is person centred.
OVERVIEW OF DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Maintaining and updating Service user?s records ensuring Medical
prescription forms are current and up to date
* Health Promotion and well-being of Service users
* Writing and implementing care plans
* Gastrostomy Feeds
* Management and replacement of NG and PEG tube
* Administer nebulizer PRN
* Administer O2 PRN
* Clinical observations
* Provide First Aid in emergency situation
* Keep detailed record of incident and treatment provided
* Record and Monitor nutritional intake as appropriate
* Be responsible for ongoing assessment of Service users and regular
documentation of same

The successful candidate will have the following:
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
* Current registration with An Bord Altranais RNID
* Full driving licence, own transport
* Experience working with adults with complex needs.
* Knowledge of ?New Directions? ? Guidelines for day services (
