Job Objective:
To capture and report on the trading activities of a number of Companies.
The main duties will include:
? Prepare and record monthly marketing accruals, deduction accruals in accordance with company standard practice & procedures
? Communicate with business unit contacts on all marketing related queries.
? Liaise with Financial Controller to account for Head Office marketing and operating expense accruals.
? Prepare and issue marketing and deduction related credit notes to customers in accordance with the Company Chart of Authority.
? Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations for all marketing related balances. Send reconciliations to business unit contacts and follow up on any old reconciling items.
? Responsible for month-end trial balance submissions to Headquarters, for a number of entities.
? Monthly review of income statement & balance sheet prior to submission.
Run and validate re-measurement & translation for two Companies
? Responsible for accounting for prepaid marketing programs.
? Preparation and review of statutory accounts in accordance with accounting standards.
? Preparation of Regulatory Central Statistics Office returns for all Irish entities Responsible for Trial Balance submissions for insurance and re-insurance Company.
? Submission of rolling estimates for various Irish entities.
? Ad hoc requests/projects to support Accounting Services Management & objectives.
Experience required:
Qualified or Part Qualified Accountant- ACCA /CIMA etc
Relevant experience gained in a multi-national environment
Strong MS Office skills
2-3 years financial analysis experience
Excellent communication skills
Analytical, and organized with a high level of attention to detail
Strong Communication Skills
Team Player
Experience with SAP would be an advantage.
Exposure to statutory reporting.
