Location : Ennis
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Community Facilitator with
the Brothers of Charity Services Ireland Clare.
The successful candidate will work in a one to one context with a
number of people with an intellectual disability, with particular
emphasis on the areas of education, training, lifelong learning,
employment and recreational activities in their community.
The Community Facilitator will have the ability to initiate and
develop opportunities for people on an individual needs basis.? This
will involve fostering relationships within the community and liaising
with family and other natural supports.
This dynamic and creative role will involve you in aspects of everyday
living with each person.? The successful candidate will be a positive
outgoing self-starter with an ability to ?hear? what is being
asked of them.
Experience of working with adults in community initiatives would be
advantageous.

networker??? The job involves supporting a young man with life
skills, work experience/job, social activities and developing a role
in the community.

disability is a prerequisite, thus enabling them to have a positive

be treated as an individual, at all times acknowledging their personal
dignity, according them their full rights and privileges.
