Banking Project Analyst
Overall Objective of the Role

The Banking & consultancy function acts as support to the business units, the main purpose being managing the bank relationships, banking projects & new account openings on behalf of the business units. The Banking Project Analyst reporting to the Banking & Consultancy Manager will research, assist in or manage projects that involve Banking & new payments. The projects will be for external clients plus internal projects.

Your experience should include project management, implementation, change management, process review and research, working with major clients, relative to the Banking & Global payments Sector.

Duties & Responsibilities:



* * * * * * * * Aiding the delivery of banking or payment projects Market research on Global Payments & Banking Worldwide Advising clients on new emerging markets Involvement in the development of research documents Involvement in the development of methodology, tools, and other knowledge resources Assist in larger banking projects throughout the year. Business analysis, process redesign & workshop facilitation Reporting on a weekly & monthly basis to management


Ideal Candidate:
The Banking Project Analyst must have:



* Applicants will be pro-active individuals with strong communication, creativity, problem solving and decision-making skills able to work in a dynamic and challenging environment.
* * * * Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and presentation) At least 2 years project management experience Excellent attention to detail Financial services or payments experience essential A knowledge of banking products including Global Payment
* * Products, Treasury Products and European Cash Management Products is desirable A knowledge of other markets would be beneficial This role will involve a certain amount of travelling



Skills & Experience:



* * * * * * * * Project Management Skills Previous experience of Bank dealings essential Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and presentation) Excellent attention to detail & organizational skills Team player who can also work on his or her own initiative Good decision making skills Illustrates assertiveness and the ability to use own initiative Ability to work under pressure.


Qualifications:



* * * * Applicants should have at least 4 years experience in banking or global payments environment & hold an appropriate Business qualification. Project management qualification a plus. Third Level Degree. Experience of computer applications a requirement, in particular, Microsoft Project, Access & Excel.Overall Objective of the Role
