ROLE: FUNDRAISING EXECUTIVE

TERM: 6 Month fixed term, may develop into a full time position.

THE ROLE:

Anam Cara are looking to recruit an experienced fundraiser on a part
time basis to manage current events and initiate, drive and deliver
new fundraising opportunities on behalf of the organisation.

This would suit an individual who has previous experience in a
fundraising role and looking to return to the workplace or reduce
hours and gain flexibility in their working week.

ABOUT US:

Anam Cara is an organisation that supports bereaved parents after the
death of a child, irrespective of the child?s age or circumstances
surrounding their death. We provide parents with a care path in
helping them come to terms with their grief. We provide face to face
and online meetings with their peers, throughout Ireland that are
facilitated by professionals and volunteer parents. Other resources
include bereavement information evenings, podcasts, webinars,
information packs, and online resources on our website as well as
family remembrance events.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

* Minimum of 5 years? relevant experience working in a similar
environment
* Creative thinker in devising new initiatives
* Experience in a cross section of revenue streams to deliver on
targeted income
* Excellent organisational/project management skills to implement
and roll out events/campaigns.
* Good understanding of budget management, income forecasting and
reporting
* Experience in promoting activities across various media platforms
* Ability to work on own initiative and adhere to deadlines.
* Proven track record in delivering results.
* Strong communication skills
* Have a general knowledge of the Charities Governance code and
Statement of Guiding Principles of Fundraising.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Working in collaboration with corporate fundraiser and grants
executive to generate income in line with budgets and individual
targets.
* Continue to manage and roll out current annual events for Anam
Cara
* Responsible for developing community fundraising, and school
engagement.
* Identify ways to maximise income based on previous
experience/learning and implement new initiatives in line with Anam
Cara?s ethos and values.
* Supporting corporate fundraiser in developing corporate
relationships and partnerships.
* Providing reports, editorials, and updates of fundraising
activities for quarterly newsletters

KEY ATTRIBUTES:

* Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Good IT skills, including proficiency with the MS Office suite and
experience of CRM platforms.
* Ability to work on your own initiative, as well as part of a team,
with an open and positive attitude.
* An understanding and empathy for the mission and work of the
organisation.
