FACILITIES PROPERTY MANAGER

_Mid West Simon Community CLG _are looking for a Facilities Property
Manager to join their team at an exciting time of organisational
growth and development. The role reports directly to the Chief
Executive Officer.

The Facilities Property Manager will ensure that all facilities and
asset management projects are delivered on behalf of Mid West Simon
CLG to a high standard, within budget and agreed timelines. They will
have a proven track record in building and maintaining key
relationships with key stakeholders.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Cultivate relationships with key external and internal stakeholders
and partners.
* Represent the organisation at meetings with various agencies with
regard to individual cases while acting in the best interests of the
organisation and tenants at all times.

* Ensure that delivery of projects are completed to a good standard,
in budget and within agreed timeframe, to include but not exclusively:


* Building works requests
* Capital upgrade requests and programmes
* Establishment of new projects and services
* Grant management to include SEAI and other grant opportunities
* Responding to EHO reports
* Management of planned works programmes

* Development and communication of Asset and Facilities management
policy, procedure and guidelines.
* Together with the CEO, implement an Asset Management Strategy.

REQUIREMENTS OF ALL MID WEST SIMON STAFF

* Commitment to the purpose of Mid West Simon Community and to work
within the values, policies and procedures of the organisation, in
line with current legislation and regulations.
* Participate in regular supervision with your line manager.
* Actively participate in staff meetings and service
reviews/evaluations.
* Contribute to the development of policy and practice, within your
area of work and Mid West Simon as a whole.
* Report any area of concern to your line manager in a timely and
efficient manner.
* Demonstrate flexibility in relation to hours of attendance to meet
the needs of the work. Working unsocial hours may be required.
* Have a flexible approach to the work in response to organisational
change, development and review of best practice.
* Participate and engage in a performance management programme.
* Identify training needs with your line manager and participate in
training opportunities appropriate to the role.
* Be vigilant of any Health, Safety and Welfare risks in the
workplace and bring any concerns to the attention of your line manager
or Health & Safety Representative.
* To participate in the efficient flow of information within the
organisation by sharing and seeking information as appropriate.
* To undertake other duties as may be requested by the line manager
from time to time.
* To complete your work in a friendly and flexible manner.

ESSENTIAL FOR THE ROLE

* Degree in Surveying (min requirement) or related area or
significant property/facilities and compliance management.
* Minimum of 3 years? experience in managing facilities projects.
* Committed to providing the highest levels of quality service.
* Knowledge and experience of health and safety legislation and
compliance.
* Knowledge of building regulations.
* Experience in writing detailed reports and action plans.
* Proven track record in relation to best practice in this area.
* Excellent computer and communication skills.
* Strong credibility and ability to engage at all levels.
* Proven stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and respond quickly to changing
priorities.
* Demonstrate ability to self-manage.
* Full unrestricted driving license.
