DESCRIPTION

Clondalkin Tus Nua is a Community Drug Team based in Clondalkin. We
provide specialist addiction interventions across the rehabilitation
continuum. We are currently recruiting an C.E. Supervisor/ Key worker
for our DRP Station 1. The Station 1 Programme is a community
employment day programme tailored to meet the needs of individuals in
various stages of recovery from substance dependency. Our aim is to
provide participants with the skills and tools necessary for their
long-term recovery from substance dependency.

The C.E. Supervisor / Key worker will work as part of a dynamic team
to undertake rehabilitative key working, case management and group
work with our DRP Participants.

EXPERIENCE

* A minimum of two years full-time professional experience in DEASP
Sponsored Drug Rehabilitation Programme
* Experience of Key Working, Care Planning
* Experience of developing and implementing Therapeutic /
Psychoeducational Group Facilitation
* Knowledge of National Rehabilitation Framework
* Experience of using evidence-based intervention strategies across
a diverse continuum from Stabilization to Aftercare
* Experience of using IT systems such as ILP, eCASS, HRB Link.
* Good communication skills - Competent writing and reporting skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and ability to
prioritize tasks

QUALIFICATIONS

* 3rd Level Qualification in area of Addiction minimum of NFQ level 7
Diploma

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Oversee the maintenance and provision of all recording systems as
may be required by the Sponsor and/or DEASP
* Assist the Rehabilitation Team leader in sourcing and costing
effective training/development opportunities to meet the training
needs identified in participants Individual Learning Plans (ILPs)
* Provide effective supervisory cover as directed by the project
Rehabilitation Team leader
* Assist in planning and coordinating the agreed / approved work
schedules for participants
* Carry out all functions relevant to the position of CE Supervisor
as directed by the Sponsor Financial Monitoring and Programme and
Training Monitoring
* Carry a client case load as Key Worker to participants on the
rehabilitation programme
* Plan and facilitate daily therapeutic group work
* Advocate for clients and work in a case management approach
* Promote the programme and build referral pathways with LES, Intro
Office, Prison Service and Tier 4 Addiction Services
* Keeping participant records and ensuring professional standards
are observed in respect to confidentiality and security of same
* Attendance at weekly Client meetings
* Participate in on-going planning and evaluation of the work of the
project

GENERAL DUTIES:

* Working as part of a team that requires co-operation with other
team members
* Keep up to date statistics as requested by the Rehabilitation Team
leader
* Attendance at regular meetings required
* Attendance for one to one support and supervision is expected
* Avail of job appropriate training, workshops and seminars as
agreed by the Project Manager, Rehabilitation Team leader and DEASP
* Adhere to all Health & Safety regulations and to report any Health
& Safety issues to the designated officer or management team.
* Represent the project on committee and working group as directed
by the Project Manager/Rehabilitation Team leader
* Any other duties deemed as appropriate to the position in
consultation with line management.

Salary will be on the DEASP CE Supervisor scale.
