ESSENTIAL CRITERIA FOR THIS POSITION:

* Third Level Degree in Social Care or equivalent.
* Extensive experience working in a social care setting.
* Experience of professional supervision.
* Experience of working as part of a team.
* Group work experience, particularly facilitation.
* Key-working experience.
* Experience of working in housing or homelessness.
* Understanding of basic issues re: homelessness.
* Advocacy and liaising with other agencies.
* Good communication skills.
* Ability to cope with and manage out of hours work (on call).

We are currently looking to recruit two SUPPORT WORKERS to join our
existing team. You will be required to work hours assigned to you as
designated by your Manager & Team Leader, in line with service needs

* FETAC Level 5 (or higher) healthcare qualification, or training in
healthcare would be a distinct advantage. B.A. in Social Care (NFQ
Level 7) or higher is desirable for this position.

* Knowledge and understanding around addiction and mental health
issues.
* Knowledge, understanding and experience of professional
supervision.

* Excellent communication skills.

* Understanding of the basic issues relating to homelessness.
Experience in a homeless sector service would be a distinct advantage.
