_JOB PURPOSE_

This is a key manager role within our fundraising team with
responsibility for overseeing?the running of?our individual
giving?programme,?which?includes regular
giving,?tax?back,?legacy?and key campaigns. The role?has a strong
focus on donor care, data management?and income delivery and is
tasked with identifying growth potential and future development.

_REPORTS TO:_ Director of Fundraising

_DIRECT REPORT(S):_ Managing a team of 3, with 2 direct reports.

_ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND CRITERIA_

* Minimum of 5 years proven track record?of success?in fundraising,
preferably in individual giving, direct marketing and/or similar
income streams.
* 3rd?level qualification?preferably in communications, marketing,
finance or related areas.
* Experience of charity governance, transparency and best practices
to ensure IHF complies with the Guidelines?for Charitable
Organisations on Fundraising from the general public.
* A working knowledge or experience of GDPR.
* An understanding of?best practices for?donor retention and
recruitment.
* Excellent organisational,?administration?and data
management?skills.
* Excellent communication skills?and proven ability to manage a
small busy team.
* Ability to work?to agreed?financial targets and budgets.
* Ability to work to deadlines and to manage several campaigns /
appeals simultaneously.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Enthusiastic, warm friendly manner.
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office?and fundraising CRM
systems ? IFH uses Raisers Edge NXT.

_DESIRABLE SKILLS AND CRITERIA_

* Full driving licence and access to own car.
* Experience of digital and/or online fundraising.

_RESPONSIBILITIES_

* Responsibility for IHF?regular giving?function,
including?financial transaction management,?donor care and face to
face recruitment?with representatives?and?agencies.
* Responsibility for development and delivery of IHF mailing
schedule, including donor care newsletter, donor acquisition and
special appeals.
* Responsibility for IHF annual raffle and tax back appeals.
* Responsibility for IHF legacy giving programme
* Management of IHF Individual Giving Team including 2 direct
reports?and fundraising administration.
* Working alongside other Fundraising Manager and assisting
with?events and appeals as necessary.
* Reporting on income, targets and budgets at monthly meetings as
required
* Working with Director of Fundraising on annual strategy, budgeting
and future planning as necessary.
* Development of a major giving programme with existing donors?to
plan new potential areas of support.
* Identify potential new areas of support for IHF through individual
giving, sponsorship opportunities and so on.

* The above list of duties is not exhaustive and the post-holder will
be required to undertake such other tasks as may reasonably be
expected within the scope and grading of the post, and as may be
determined by the person(s) to whom the post-holder reports

_CONDITIONS_

The salary will be commensurate with experience. This is a full-time,
permanent post with a six-month probation period.

Standard office base is at IRISH HOSPICE FOUNDATION, NASSAU ST, DUBLIN
2. Current work base is dictated by compliance with government
guidelines regarding Covid-**Apply on the website**. A hybrid working
structure which combines office and some home-based work will be
introduced when all national restrictions are lifted.
