ABOUT THE ROLE

We now have an exciting opportunity for an Account Manager to join our
Global Key Accounts Team, based in Naas. Reporting to the Global
Account Director, this position is offering the successful candidate
the opportunity to make a real impact in this space and deliver key
objective in line with the overall business strategy and key account
requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Successfully manage and deliver against individual sales targets
with specified area of responsibility
* Pro-actively defend current Business and leverage from the existing
customer base to extend business
* Lead all open sales opportunities and act as a focal for internal
and external interactions
* Identify a portfolio of quality growth projects
* Understand customer&#**Apply on the website**;s business, their
needs and goals and identify potential new business
* Identify market and competitor activity, product and industry
developments and feedback this information to Sales Leadership.
* Use market intelligence to open up new channels of sales
* Measure and communicate progress against annual targets via
accurate and timely reporting and forecasting. Identify gaps and
develop a remediation plan as needed
* Identify general areas for improvements to maximize customer
satisfaction & efficiencies, streamline processes, increase sales,
improve delivery and product availability etc.
* Work collaboratively with all colleagues to best position Kerry as
their global business partner
* Comply with guidelines surrounding company systems and other
relevant policies
* Drive negotiation of commercial agreements and contracts
* To carry out specific additional tasks delegated by line manager

_QUALIFICATIONS_ and skills

* Excellent commercial skills around contract negotiations &
relationship building skills
*
_ABILITY TO_ articulate clear and compelling messages from multiple
sources of data and information to win business
* Strong Commercial effectiveness - ability to understand customer
needs, decide strategy and manage accounts
*
_ABILITY TO_ communicate customer and market needs to colleagues and
to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team.
* Display a broad understanding & build relationship within and
across regions, functions, and shared businesses to achieve shared
goals
* Strong organizational skills, with the ability to work on multiple
projects with multiple deadlines
* Good working knowledge of food science and how it relates to
product development and its commercialisation.
* Sales / customer-facing RDA experience, where your technical
capability has actively contributed to winning new business ideally
within the Food Space
