We are recruiting for the position of?SENIOR OCCUPATIONAL
THERAPIST?as part of our?STEP AHEAD PLUS PROGRAM.?This role will be
remote, with the requirement to travel to Cork and/or Dublin once a
month to fulfil assesment clinic days.

HOURS?contract.

The role of the?SENIOR OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST?carries responsibility
for the delivery of assessment and therapeutic interventions to
service users in accordance with their agreed vocational and/or
educationsl rehabilitation goals and to work as part of their
inter-disciplinary team in the development and delivery of ABI Ireland
rehabilitation services.?He/she will support those referred to the
service who have sustained an acquired brain injury to commence
preparation or return to employment, education, or related engagement
activities. He/she as part of the team will take the lead on the
holistic and functional assessments of adults with Acquired Brain
Injury (ABI) so as to support them to live valued lives in the
community. As part of the team will play a pivotal role in the
development of service user personal vocational plan (PVP), which is
designed to meet their specific needs and goals.

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Be a registered Occupational Therapist
* At least 3 years post qualification expereince

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE:

* Demonstrated understanding and experience in community
rehabilitation
* Experience in the area of disability and knowledge and awareness
of the needs of people with ABI
* Experience in Vocational Rehabilitation
* A strong focus on maximising independence and setting achievable
goals for service users
* Excellent communication skills, verbal, written, report writing
and presentation
* Previous experience of leading and developing staff
* Able to demonstrate good attention to detail, good judgement
showing logical decision making and a hands on approach
* Excellent time management skills with a focus on customer service
* A confident self-starter with the ability to operate in a dynamic
environment
* Experience of planning, budgeting and forecasting
* Excellent MS Office skills with advanced spreadsheet skills
* An ability to manage conflict and problem solve
