COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT MANAGER
(DUBLIN BASED WITH FLEXIBLE ARRANGEMENTS)

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a national
team of advocacy project workers in achieving our organisation goals
and objectives.

This team delivers Inclusion Ireland?s grass roots work by:

* Ensuring that people with an intellectual disability are at the
heart of everything Inclusion Ireland does.
* Working with local disability representative groups and supporting
capacity building.
* Supporting enquiries and disseminating information in accessible
formats.
* Ensuring the participation of persons with a disability in
relevant committees, fora and in policy formation at a local, regional
and national level.
* Listening to people and their lived experience and subsequently
developing pathways to create systemic change.
* Delivering on projects and developing processes which advance the
purpose of the organisation and support people with intellectual
disabilities in having their rights met under UNCRPD.

POLICY COORDINATOR (LOCATION FLEXIBLE)

The successful candidates will be part of a national team and lead out
on Inclusion Ireland?s policy work. As part of the team, the policy
coordinator will plan, develop and deliver responses to public policy
issues related to Inclusion Ireland?s strategic objectives.

He/she will:

* Research, analyse and advise on public policy areas related to
intellectual disability, identifying strategic priorities for policy
development.
* Lead on the development of organisational position papers,
submissions and other policy papers.
* Work with the team in the planning and implementation of
local/regional/national consultations with people who have an
intellectual disability and their supporters, in order to inform,
develop and validate our policy positions.
