INVITATION FOR TENDER TO DEVELOP THE INDICATORS FOR LOCAL INTEGRATION
(ILI)

1. INTRODUCTION

The ?Indicators for Local Integration? project will be delivered
over 3 stages.

* Research and development of indicators for Irish Local Authorities
to measure migrant integration (indicators pack);
* Development of an interactive ILI online tool;
* Surveying Local Authorities and presenting the results through the
ILI online tool.

The Immigrant Council of Ireland invites tenders from qualified
person(s) to deliver the first stage of the project. The successful
candidate will work in collaboration with the Immigrant Council and an
advisory committee to research and to develop the indicators pack. The
funding for the project is provided by the Asylum and Migration

2. ABOUT THE ORGANISATION

The Immigrant Council of Ireland is an independent immigrant human
rights organisation and an independent Law Centre. It advocates for
the rights of immigrants and their families, and acts as a catalyst
for public debate and policy change. It works with and for immigrants
in promoting their rights through information, legal advice, advocacy,
lobbying, research and publications, as well as training.

3. BACKGROUND

integration measures should be a key part of strategic development
plans in all areas. Having well designed and multi-dimensional
integration policies and practices helps our diverse communities to
prosper, and to reach their full potential. As integration largely

children, and interact with neighbours ? our attention as an
organisation is at supporting Local Authorities in designing and
