Job Description
This position is initially based in Frankfurt, Germany, where you will familiarise yourself with an existing manufacturing process, dealing with vendors, operations and project engineering. You will then be responsible for leading the tech transfer back to their Irish operations.
Accountabilities:
To work as part of a highly focused and integrated Engineering operations team in a highly automated high speed medical device manufacturing environment.
To support and improve Engineering operations through:
- Day to day operational support on manufacturing lines.
- Monitoring of equipment performance data.
- Development, deployment and delivery on improvement opportunities with tangible results.
- Dealing with equipment vendors
Liaise with all Engineering Teams (Facilities, Metrology, Projects, Automation and Validation) in the delivery of engineering excellence through collaboration.
Execute Process activities to schedule and to the highest safety and compliance standards.
Delivery of key performance metrics within Med Device
Lead the tech transfer of the manufacturing process back to Ireland after 12 months.
Requirements:
Honors degree in an Engineering discipline.
8+ years’ relevant experience in a highly regulated GMP environment.
Experience of Medical Device or high speed Manufacturing Operations a must
