The Daughters of Charity Community Services (DoCCS), located at 9
Henrietta Street, Dublin 1, is a community-based organisation
providing a range of educational, training and social care services
for children, young people and adults living in Dublin?s North Inner
City. Our services are targeted to individuals and families
experiencing socio-economic and educational disadvantage.

We are currently recruiting to the role of HR / Corporate Services
Manager (Specified Purpose Contract) to cover Maternity Leave.

The HR / Corporate Services Manager will work closely with the CEO,
and Finance Manager. The HR / Corporate Services Manager provides
support and guidance to the Leadership Team and is responsible for the
day-to-day operations of the organisations as per the role
specification below.

THIS IS A SPECIFIED PURPOSE CONTRACT MATERNITY COVER (ESTIMATED
8-MONTHS) CONTRACT STARTING SEPTEMBER **APPLY ON THE WEBSITE**.

THE PARTICULARS OF THE ROLE ARE AS FOLLOWS:

CONTRACT: This is a specified purpose contract for Maternity Leave
cover. Immediate start required.

HOURS OF WORK: The successful candidate will work **Apply on the
website** hours per week. The hours of work are as follows, Monday to
Thursday 9am ? 5pm, Friday 9am ? 1pm with a **Apply on the
website** minute paid lunch break daily.

ANNUAL LEAVE: Annual leave entitlements will be calculated based on
length of time in post.

The annual leave for the position is **Apply on the website** days,
with an additional 2 service days at times set by the organisation.
The organisation is closed on Good Friday and Christmas Eve, which is
additional leave to annual leave.

Salary is determined based on experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reporting to the Director of Services of DoCCS, the person will have
the following duties, which are outlined in the attached job
description,

* Manage the HR function for the organisation including full cycle
recruitment, policy development and implementation and ensuring the
organisation are legally compliant and working within best practice.
* Manage the IT systems for the organisation and project manage the
introduction of an external service provider for IT support
* Buildings and Facilities Management
* Managing and Supervising Reception and Support Staff for the
organisation
* Leading the organisations Health and Safety compliance including
project managing a review of same
* Management of key administration for tasks for the organisation
* Providing non-legal secretarial support to the Board of Director
* Support the finance function through managing aspects of the
organisations finances such as the credit card and petty cash

THE PERSON:

* The person is required to have a third level qualification in the
field of HR, business administration or equivalent qualification that
has a HR component,
* The person MUST be proactive in their approach to managing the HR
and Health and Safety elements of the role to lead the organisation in
best practice,
* Strong knowledge of employment law,
* Experience in providing guidance to a leadership team,
* A good understanding of governance requirements in the
not-for-profit sector,
* Interest in the vision and mission of DoCCS,
* Experience of Change Management,
* Excellent communicator,
* Experience of working as part of a team,
* HR / Corporate Services Management experience, preferably in the
not-for-profit sector, would be a distinct advantage,
* CIPD membership is an advantage.
