Daisyhouse is looking for an inspirational, dedicated, ambitious
professional to pioneer a period of significant expansion at our
organisation. This expansion of our services is desperately needed to
meet the growing need for our services by the women of Dublin
experiencing homeless and exclusion.
Daisyhouse Housing Association was set up by the late Sr Una
McCourtney CSJP, with the help of the then Senator, and former
President, Mary Robinson and Ita Kelly. ?For over **Apply on the
website** years ago we have been serving women in urgent need of
housing support and having experienced multiple traumas in their
lives. The pandemic has hit these women the hardest. They have no
safety net, no support network and a total lack of resources to get
back on their feet; they have been beaten down too many times and
these women need the support of Daisyhouse. ?Daisyhouse wants to be
there for every woman who needs our help. We are a registered charity
and Approved Housing Body supporting women out of homelessness. We do
this through the provision of supported temporary accommodation
combined with a uniquely tailored individual personal support
programme. We work with women for an **Apply on the website**-month
period so that they can break the cycle of homelessness and be
empowered to move forward to independent, safe, sustainable living. We
also provide a fully comprehensive resettlement programme. Our work
has an impact and makes lasting change.
The Marketing and Communications manager will be inspired by the
challenge ahead. This is an opportunity for someone with the
experience and confidence to lead our work in this area and to
proactively identify, build and support a community of donors,
supporters and fundraisers to generate income and start a long-term
relationship to support our mission and the women we serve. You will
be joining a successful, dedicated team, led by an inspirational CEO
and supported by a Board of Directors who are primed to support your
