Our client is managing a large number of infrastructure projects in Qatar. These projects incluse roads, bridges, tunnels and sewerage.
Job Description:
Primavera Experience is a must.
Liaise with the Planning Affairs and other government department and utility providers with regard to drainage requirements and needs
Liaise with all technical teams of the Infrastructure affairs Dept (IA). of the PWA
Update Strategic Drainage Infrastructure Plan (SDIP) for the future urban development requirements/needs
Liaison with the various unit head within IA to ensure conformity to the overall plan and to highlights conflicts
To forecast future capitol works program requirements
Assist in the preparation of the annual financial budget submissions of IA
To review Consultants design submissions with respect to planning strategy
Liaison with O&M to forecast future flows and capacity demands to existing pumping stations and STW facilities with the view of upgrading the system performance
Liaise with planning and land authorities to secure land for drainage use
Co ordinate, follow up and update the design program of IA in accordance with Strategic Drainage Infrastructure Plan
Assist in the preparation of regular cyclic and exception reporting
Liaise with Roads Affairs and national zone consultants with respect to all matters involving existing our proposed sewerage system.
Assist in the development and implementation of a quality Assurance System.
Cooperate with QA/QC, Safety and other Engineers of the Department in their AM
Requirements:
Experience
Graduation in Civil Engineering from recognized University,
Competent at Microsoft Word; Excel and Project, and knowledge of GIS.
Certified user of Project Management Software such as Primavera
Ability to speak and write Arabic would be an advantage.
Min.7-15 years experience in civil engineering and planning of foul, surface and return effluent sewerage infrastructure including pumping stations and sewage treatment works.
At least 5 years should have been spent on Master Plan Studies of urban developments with respect to overall drainage infrastructure
Experience in projects involving government departments: public and private organizations
Experience in Development Control would be an advantage.
Personal Qualities
Culturally sensitive with experience in operating in a multicultural environment.
Sound written and verbal communication skills together with interpersonal skills.
Ability to maintain a pro-active and organized approach.
Good attention to detail coupled with the ability to focus on the wider objectives.

$50,000 usd to $75,000 usd dependant on experience
Paid accommodation
Families - Paid Government Accommodation or housing allowance $12,000
Single - Paid Government Accommodation or housing allowance $8,000
72 days Annual leave
45 days + 20 Muslim Festival days + Casual Leave 7 days
Employees have the option to encash 50% of their entitled annual leave.
