Deansrath Family Centre wishes to recruit a FAMILY SERVICES AND
PROGRAMME CO-ORDINATOR. Deansrath Family Centre is a registered
charity, which aims to create and deliver comprehensive best practice
quality services to meet the needs of families facing challenges with
the development of their children so that the children can realise
their potential.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

_ESSENTIAL_

* A Masters in Social Work
* 4 Years? experience working directly with Families in a Family
Support/Family Welfare/Social Work capacity.
* 3 Years? experience at Team Leader/Team Coordinator level in a
similar work environment
* Accredited Qualification in Social Work/Clinical Supervision
Practice
* Experience of Delivery of Parenting Programmes
* The knowledge, competencies, and relevant experience of providing
high standards of individual, shared/ group supervision.

KEY SKILLS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The post will assume overall responsibility for the Family Team
inclusive of provision of both Case Management and Self-Reflective
Support and Supervision.

The ideal candidate will take overall responsibility for the referral,
assessment, case management and moving on plans for children and
families referred to the Family Centre and for ensuring positive
outcomes for our families. They will support the practice and
implementation of an Assessment Framework across the Organisation,
thus ensuring high quality; integrated services are available to all
families accessing Services from the Centre. The Activities of the
Supervision will encapsulate the three primary domains which may
overlap: administrative, educational and supportive with the provision
of reflective clinical practice to the forefront.

They will ensure that service provision to children/families is
through a Case Allocation, Case Management and Supervision Framework
and be responsible for supporting the development of a competent,
ethical, and professional community social work team. The successful
candidate will assume lead responsibility for practice with the Family
Support/Parent Facilitators Practitioners and supervise the work of
Practitioners across the Centre in respect of complex cases and
practice issues, developing and promoting best practice in family
support/welfare provision.

They will have a unique and in-depth portfolio of transferable
knowledge and competencies to provide high standards of individual,
shared, group and peer supervision in the not-for-profit sector.

They will take overall responsibility for the ongoing development and
implementation of the Organisations Groupwork Programme.

They will be very familiar/trained/accredited in formal Parenting
Programme Facilitation eg. Incredible Years/Parents Plus in order to
deliver same.

The successful candidate must be able to communicate effectively both
verbally and in writing with people and be experienced working with
clients from diverse cultural and social backgrounds. Good
administration skills appropriate to the post including computer
literacy with an understanding of the concepts of database use and
paperless record keeping. The role is part of the Management Team of
the Organisation and as such the Holder is expected to participate as
Line Manager to the Family Outreach Team and to participate and
conduct as Management within the Organisation.

This position is currently available as @ **Apply on the website**
hours weekly subject to a fixed **Apply on the website**-month
contract, renewable subject to funding and successful six month
probationary period. Hours may increase subject to availability of
funding and requirements of the post.
