The Market Research Director will support decision making across the
organization adding value as a functional expert in designing
innovative research approaches to answer key business questions and
support growth by leading the development and execution of primary
market research. Proactively combining information from different
sources, mainly market research, to evaluate brands&#**Apply on the

analysis techniques.

Evaluating the success of marketing initiatives through market
research with significant focus on ensuring tight alignment with
global brand teams, new product development and country insights
teams.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Strategic:

* Enable Franchise Heads to make strategic decisions by bringing
external perspective and data based insights
* Drive innovation and capability building, including new techniques,
data sources, automation and Al to enhance process efficiency and
value of Insights.

Leadership:

* Very strong functional leader, with the ability to influence across
senior leaders in Novartis
* Provide thought leadership and credibility in defining innovative
MR strategy methodologies
* Lead a team of SME&#**Apply on the website**;s

Enhance insights:

* Subject matter expert in MR who can identify and implement
innovate, industry leading primary market research approaches
* Consistently monitor execution of MR projects to support
performance and growth of key brand strategies across Novartis

Talent management:

* Build a &#**Apply on the website**;one-team&#**Apply on the
website**; mentality to overcome issues, balance risks, build high
performing teams and trust with stakeholders

Operational:

* Develop and lead innovative MR execution
* Provide effective guidance to planning of studies, including
research material design
* Deliver on agreed-upon targets - assist with delivery of financial
targets for MR ?

* Significant experience of managing multi-methodology market
research projects encompassing multi-markets
* Experience in working across regions and within a commercial,

* Project management - scoping, defining deliverables, business case
development and reporting at a senior level including the ability to
communicate effectively and to have a persuasive and credible
presentation style
* Strong business acumen and solution-orientation mindset including
budget and P&

L management
* University degree BA/BS/MA degree in business,
statistics/mathematics, medicine, sciences, health economics,
sociology, psychology
* Fluency in English, superior written composition skills, a second
European language is of benefit

DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS:

* Knowledge of the disease areas within the Pharma sector, with
strong leadership and communication skills
