Abode Doorway to Life provides services to to adults with Physical and
or Sensory Disabilities.
Abode currently has a vacancy around Social Care to support residents
in the HIQA registered Designated Centre.
The successful candidates will be afforded necessary training and
development in line with the role. Candidates must be flexible and
available to work weekends.
POSITION: SOCIAL CARE WORKER (APPROXIMATELY **APPLY ON THE WEBSITE**
HOURS PER WEEK)
LOCATION: Abode (Doorway to Life) Kilbrack Grove, Skehard Road,
Blackrock, Cork.
CONTRACT: Permanent
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS:
* Diploma / degree in Social Care Work or equivalent standard
* A comprehensive knowledge of the HIQA national standards for
residential services
* At least 2 years? experience working in a similar role and
environment
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* A full clean driving licence
As Abode is a residential service overnight shifts are necessary.
HSE Consolidated Pay Scales are appliciple.
