Service Desk / Helpdesk Suppor
Our client has an urgent requirement for a number of Service Desk Support persons with a background in supporting applications and hardware within a windows environment to provide first/second line support to their internal users.

Key Responsibilities

• To provide Service Desk support to customers with IT technical queries and problems associated with IT applications.
• Analysis and resolution of tracks logged to Service Support Desktop Co-ordinate and communicate the status of all tracks to customers
• Evaluate issues and escalate where necessary.
• Provide training to other team members in specialised areas where required

Key Skills

• Previous Service Desk support experience a must
• Strong customer support skills
• Excellent knowledge of Windows 2000
• Knowledge of TCP/IP
• Excellent hardware knowledge – both PC/Server/Desktop
• Excellent working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of applications
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Excellent telephone manner
• Strong Team Player
• Good documentation skills

Ideally the candidate will have: -
• 2-3 years experience of working in a support environment/team
• IT Diploma qualification desirable

Candidates must be eligible and immediately available for work in Ireland
